Thank you for your interest in the Boundary Hill Pass Project!

We’d love to welcome you to experience this remarkable place firsthand. If you’d like to schedule a personal visit to the site—or arrange an inspiring presentation for your local organization—simply head to our Contact Us Page and send us an email with your request.

Together, we can turn this vision into reality and create a Third Place for Wildlife that will inspire generations to come.

Projects

Dog Park

Imagine a vibrant new dog park right across from the brand-new animal shelter on Landfill  Road—a place where rescue pups, family pets, and their people can gather, play, and connect. It’s already part of our project plan designed by HWC Engineering, and if funding becomes available, we’re ready to break ground.

We’re now looking for an energetic team to chase down grants and explore pontoon plans that will bring this vision to life. This is your chance to help create a space that will bring joy to both two-legged and four-legged friends for years to come!

Tree Work – Fresh Air & Hands-On Fun

Pruning and trimming will be an ongoing part of caring for our land—and we’d love your help! Spend some time outdoors, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the satisfaction of shaping healthy, beautiful trees.

For reasons only nature knows, the walnut trees here have absolutely thrived—there are hundreds of them! Each spring, they need a little TLC to keep them growing strong. Sure, we might wish they were mighty oaks, but these walnuts are ours to care for… and they’re worth it.

Come join us and make a difference—one tree at a time.

Adding a bridge

 Part of Something Historic!

We have a rare treasure—a historic military Bailey Bridge. Soon, it will serve as a temporary bridge to reach a hidden part of our project that’s currently only accessible on foot.

But before we can put it in place, this beautiful piece of history needs some TLC—scraping, repainting, and bringing back its proud shine. We’re looking for someone to take the lead on this effort.

This is your chance to leave your mark on a project that will connect people to a special place for years to come. It’s hands-on, it’s historic, and it’s going to be a lot of fun!

Forming a not-for-Profit

Help Us Build the Backbone of Our Future

Behind the scenes, we’re tackling one of the big questions—what type of nonprofit should we form, and how do we set it up for success? There’s a lot that goes into forming a new organization, and we’d love some seasoned guidance.

If you’ve done this before in your career (and actually enjoyed it!), we’d be thrilled to have you on board. This happens to be one of my weaker skill sets… so your expertise would be golden.

Oh—and did I mention? We’ll happily pay you in gratitude, good company, and maybe even a cold beer when the paperwork’s done. 🍺 Mick
